India is Facebook country, make no mistake. There are more users from India on Facebook – 241 million active users, as of July 2017 — than from any other country. What’s more, Indian users are not just addicted to Facebook but other social platforms owned by the Menlo Park headquartered social networking company.  

In the past week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in USA repealed its 2015 regulation forcing telecommunication companies to respect net neutrality. Considering that the original FCC decision prompted a Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) ruling on the issue two years ago, will this repeal force another discussion on net neutrality in India?
